Admin sets up the company workspace
Register your company, add board members, and configure the reporting period. You can also register known related companies directly — such as subsidiaries, associates or group entities.

Board members submit their declarations
Each board member signs in and completes a guided declaration — disclosing their own transactions with the company, any related individuals, and any related entities. The form walks them through each section step by step.

Admin reviews the consolidated register
All declarations are merged into a single related party register. The admin can see who has filed, review all disclosed parties in one place, and track outstanding submissions.

Export for auditors
Download the full register as a PDF or Excel file — ready to hand to your auditors or attach to the annual accounts. Individual board member declarations can also be exported as signed PDF documents.

Related party transactions are not always at market rates — an owner lending money, or a company buying services from a board member's firm. A register makes these visible and ensures they are properly recorded and fair.

IAS 24 and equivalent standards require companies to disclose related parties and their transactions in the annual accounts. Without a register, disclosures can be incomplete — and auditors will notice.

Who we are
We help companies meet their governance and compliance obligations simply and efficiently.

Declarify was built by accountants and governance professionals who were tired of chasing board members for related party declarations by email, spreadsheet and PDF. We set out to make the process simple, auditable and pain-free for everyone involved.

Our platform is used by companies of all sizes — from family-owned businesses to listed companies — to collect, track and archive related party declarations in line with IAS 24 and Icelandic annual accounts legislation.

Each company gets its own secure workspace. Board members sign in, disclose their interests, and the administrator gets a complete register ready for the board to review or send to the auditors.

The platform is operated by Sigurður Þór Kjartansson, certified public accountant who specialises in their respective fields and wants to contribute to raising the standard of professional board work in support of Icelandic business. Declarify's product offering is always evolving and ideas for further solutions are on the drawing board.
